- The second blind on the inside is a blockout blind, preventing light from entering, maintaining complete privacy and insulation for energy efficiency.
When you’re selecting between Timber Venetian Blinds or Aluminium Venetian Blinds, you’ll need to consider what suits your style and needs.
Venetian blinds make it easier to control the amount of light entering a room. You can completely close the blinds for privacy or adjust the slates to direct the sunlight up, down or straight ahead. It makes it easy to control the light throughout the day with a simple lower and lift cord. Perfect for traditional homes and aesthetics, Venetian blinds offer an alternative to shutters.
Timber Venetians
Timber Venetian Blinds add warmth, a natural look and a classic sense of style. Timber and wooden venetians provide privacy, insulation, light control and ventilation. They withstand the hot climate, are made to last and easy to operate.
Aluminium Venetians
Aluminium Venetian Blinds are a sleek and modern alternative to timber Venetian blinds. PVC aluminium blinds are considered practical, durable, waterproof and resistant to warping, scratching and discoloration. They are an affordable option and the perfect addition to windows in high moisture areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The easiest way to clean panel blinds is by first taking them off the window and using hot, soapy water or a mixture of vinegar and warm water to gently wipe down each slate with a cloth. Remember to wring out the cloth in between cleaning each panel so you don’t end up with streaks. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment to remove all the dust and dirt from the slats by gently brushing them with the vacuum cleaner brush.

Panel blinds and roller blinds are both great options for your windows but they each have their own unique benefits. Panel blinds are made up of a series of panels that can be opened and closed to control the amount of light and privacy coming into the room. They're a good option if you want to have complete control over how much light comes in and they're also a good choice for large windows.
Roller blinds are perfect for small windows or doors because they take up very little space. They're also a good choice for rooms with high ceilings because they can be raised all the way up to the top of the window. Roller blinds are easy to operate and provide plenty of privacy.

It depends on a number of factors, such as the size and layout of the window, the type of fabric used for the blinds, and the level of natural light entering the room.
Both panel blinds and vertical blinds are suited well to glass sliding doors and large windows. They both provide effective light control and privacy.
Their differences can be found in temperature control and cost.
Vertical blinds are generally more affordable than panel blinds but there is some variation depending on fabric and size.
When it comes to temperature control, panel blinds are considered a better option. They are better at regulating your indoor temperature in your home or office than vertical blinds as they have less blades to allow the heat to escape.

Yes, panel blinds can help thermal insulation. The layer of fabric between the panes of glass in a window helps to prevent heat gain in the summer. They are better at regulating your indoor temperature in your home or office than vertical blinds as they have less blades to allow the heat to escape. However, panel blinds are less effective at preventing heat loss in the cooler months.
Panel blinds are preferred over vertical blinds for temperature control. However, we recommend looking at roller blinds or roman blinds for improved insulation in a blind.
